To view the admin area, enter your credentials: (ask our Support team if you are unsure)
From the left hand navigation, click the following:
Forwarding > Virtual Servers > Add New
Now you are able to add the port that you wish to open. For some DVRs it is just one port, though certain ones require more ports to be open.
Refer to the image below to confirm you are in the right location:
You should then see the following screen in the middle section:
Example: If you wish to open port 1720. Type 1720 into the Service Port field. Enter in the Internal IP that you wish to be open on 1720 (this would be the IP address of your device). If you are unsure what the Internal IP address is, you can go back to the home page and see the default name and Internal IP addresses of the devices that are currently connected to your network.
Once you know the IP address of the device, enter it into the “IP Address” field. Now, set “Protocols” to “All” and set “Status” to “Enabled”.
Click the “Save” button and you have now successfully port forwarded that port! If you have multiple ports to forward repeat the process until completed.
